Baltimore, Maryland is a historical city, being home to both the battle that inspired the Star Spangled Banner and renowned poet Edgar Allen Wright. This New England city contains great seafood, beautiful waterways, and plenty of entertainment.

History and Science
Baltimore, Maryland has been around since before the country formally existed. Fitting with the city’s history, you will find museums dedicated to preserving its rich history. There are historical sites related to events from the time period that still exist.
There are also numerous educational adventures to be had. There is a restored U.S. frigate, the Maryland Science Museum, the Davis Planetarium, and plenty more.

Entertainment
The city is connected to Chesapeake Bay, so water lovers will find plenty to do. There are cruises that will let you relax and witness the beauty on display. You will also find water taxis which will transport you across various attractions in the area. They have a lovely zoo that you can visit, and don’t forget to check out the Pier 6 Pavilion.

Dining
Baltimore is a must see city for all seafood lovers. The city is home to some of the best New England seafood on the map. Along with New England dishes, you will find plenty of Mediterranean inspired dishes. Also, be sure to check out some of the wonderful Italian restaurants.

Shopping
Two of the largest shopping locations are The Gallery and Harborplace. There are numerous boutiques from both popular franchises and local owners. There is also a growing number of local artists and artisans selling their goods and pieces of artwork in the city.

The Charm City Circulator is a free bus service that runs throughout the city, so you do not have to worry about transportation when you visit.
